In the summer of 2025, I attended my second Digital Field Methods Institute (DFMI), hosted by the Digital Writing and Research Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. At DFMI 2025, I designed a zine called “Hard Times Furious Dancing.”
Inspired by the Alice Walker quote, “Hard times require furious dancing,” I created this zine to process feelings of climate grief during the Texas Hill Country floods of 2025. You can read the full zine below.
